About

What is incandescent?

  1. Emitting light
  2. Passionate or brilliant; purposeful, spirited, intense
  3. Producing bright light when heated

My prayer is that my life will reflect this word.  As I walk through the fire, as I feel the searing heat of the flames, may I come out of the fiery furnace without a trace of smoke smell or a single hair on my body touched by the flames.  May the Light in me burn brighter BECAUSE of this heat.  May my God be honored through my testimony, and may my story be like Paul’s when he said “…what has happened to me has actually resulted in the advance of the gospel.”

Matthew 5:16 [Full Chapter] (The Message translation)

“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.”
